Five in you and me
Participatory performance, 2013
Duration: 15 mins

Human touch can be warm, protective, exploitative, empowering, abusive, traumatizing. A touch can express beyond words, a touch can be felt, can communicate, can instigate. Touch can subliminally activate healing as well as the disempowering of the mind.
With political and social movements such as MeToo and Black Lives Matter, where the human body is navigating, redefining and fighting to protect the boundaries and sanctity of its space, this performance explores the politics of the human touch.
