Performance Art Workshop – Franklin Furnace Award

Performance Art Workshop – Franklin Furnace Award

Open Call: Performance Art Workshop & Public Performance
Theme: Embodying Strength Through Shared Stories

Calling all artists, performers, and creatives — of all experience levels! We invite you to join a performance art workshop that explores the deep and transformative themes of womanhood, shared trauma, and the desire for vulnerability. This workshop will create a space for women to come together, explore their personal stories, and use art to express the raw, complex ways we connect through both pain and healing.

Through movement, sound, and storytelling, we will dive into the power of vulnerability — understanding how shared trauma creates bonds and how embracing our most authentic selves allows us to heal collectively. This is an opportunity to explore the intersection of personal experience and universal connection, culminating in a final performance that reflects the strength found in vulnerability.
